Management Analyst: Utilize standard occupational tools and knowledge to perform the

Senior Software Developer: Utilize standard occupational tools and knowledge to perform the
duties listed below. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it
to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Identify system
optimization and enhancements and collaborate with vendors and other IT
analysts in order to design and implement effective solutions. Develop
and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and
documentation. Identify trends and detect/anticipate problems early and
act as a third level of support. Confer with systems analysts, engineers,
programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project
limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Review system configuration and design options in order to make appropriate
recommendations for system maintenance requests. Design, develop and
modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to
predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Provide ongoing
troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications. Consult with
customers about software system design and maintenance. Collaborate with
Infrastructure teams in developing appropriate backup and recovery procedures
for all applications and conduct periodic recovery tests. Coordinate
software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure
specifications are met. Maintain up-to-date project documents for all
initiatives that include technical details, user expectations, project goals,
work effort, accountability, and deliverables. Obtain and evaluate
information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security
needs to determine hardware configuration. Continually identify areas of
opportunity for improvement in system and application monitoring and work with
appropriate teams to fully automate monitoring and alerting. May perform
